The Lofton’s wanted to create an outdoor kitchen and living space for their backyard. This is a distinctive design only project from the architecture of the arbor. Masonry walls and arched entry ways are consistent with the architecture of the house. The inside the area of the open air arbor provides ample shade for those cooking and enjoying the weather. The outdoor kitchen has two islands complete with a grill, pizza oven, refrigerator, and refreshment center.
Columns with planted pottery are at the terminus of the outdoor kitchen area and stairs lead down to the fire pit area. The matching stonework of the house and outdoor living space create a cohesive transition. The fire pit area is perfect for gathering people to relax around the fire.
Additional planting and a bubbling urn are also proposed to complement this hardscape design.
